Chairman Bell Canada Thomas O’Neil & Chairman CRTC Ottawa On

Mr. O’Neil This is a continuation of my complaints against your so-called-communications-company. I am continuing to complain about your lack of rural service but lately it has hit a new low. A huge low. First my son and his wife moved in about 4 months or more, ago. They called Bell to arrange to have their phone transferred to our home. (This is necessary due to no adult supervision of the Canadian Economy). They were given a number and told it would be installed on the day they were moving. No Bell service people showed their faces that day. They were given three or more insulation dates. All this time they were being billed for service they WERE NOT GETTING! Finally after talking to just about everyone at Bell Canada (except you) they cancelled the phone. Now hold on to your hat this is where it really screws up. Around 9-10 PM on June 30 I tried to phone some friends who were maybe coming for Canada Day. I HAD NO SERVICE. I phoned about 8 times and found myself arguing with that idiot Emily, now that’s getting pissed. So bright and early on CANADA DAY I phone you yahoos and found out my phone had been turned off. FOR NO REASON, I HAVE A CREDIT ON MY BILL. ( Can only assume it was because of my complaints) I was also told it would be a couple of days before it could be turned back on and get this I would lose the Phone number I had had for over 20 years. I screamed finally my phone was turned on later that afternoon. My service like voice answer were also cancelled. As for my friends who were coming in from out of town, well they keep phoning me from the airport in Toronto and my line had been turned off. . They had misplaced my cell. They could not leave a message, and they could not even send me an email as I had no email. That’s because the best service you can give us is SNAIL-UP. The phone also still mums, the internet can only stay on for minutes. They flew back home on Canada Day Thinking I had moved and not told them. When we just got our new bill you charge us double of what we were paying before you cut our service. We have long distance charges on our line. We us Sears Long Distance because they are far cheaper than Bell Canada. (Everybody is cheaper)! As for my son and daughter-in-law. They just got a contract for Bell Service they did not order. This is really strange because they do not have phone and do not even have one on order. When they moved in they had their Bell Satellite Service transferred. Now he was here on time. He was told NOT TO DISCONECT ANY SHAW LINES. He installed the service. First he did not ask but he put the dish on top of our garage, so when they move we will have holes in our garage roof. Why could he have not put it on the TV tower beside the Shaw dish? Then we found out yesterday he had disconnected one of the Shaw lines down stairs and hooked it up to Bell. (He can come back and re-hook up the Shaw line and fix their line the way he was told to do. To the Chair of the CRTC I demand that you immediately cancel Bell Canada licenses and let a company who cares and is organized take over Bell service. I do not know if they just don’t give a damn or are just so disorganized they couldn’t organize an orgy in a whore house. Again to Mr. O’Neil I again demand free phone service for my self and everyone on our area until you or someone else is able to provide guaranteed quality service.
