April 23, 2013

These are tweets sent to AM 740 news room plus a requested letter. Now they won’t even say if they got it.
This is the story of what happens when I write anyone in the National Media or Canadian politician.

MS JANE BROWN
AM 740 RADIO
DEAR JANE BROWN,

What I was referring to is;
First, for more that 20 years I have been fighting to NATIONALIZE HEALTH CARE. Over that 20 years I have only had one written and one phone message agreeing with me from Mps. The phone message did not give his name.
The written reply was from Elizabeth May she said she agrees with me.
Not one member of the media has ever replied asked me what I was taking about.
Back when we had Prime Ministers who did not think they were to good to meet with the Primers and it was actually on TV for us all to see, the then Premier of BC Hall, and the then Premier of Newfoundland-Labrador Tobin asked the federal government to take over health care.
When you consider in Canada we have at least 14+ systems with one system it would be more efficient and likely cheaper.
Consider a few years ago. The then Premier of NL announced he had to go out of the country for heart surgery. He could not get it at home. Yes, he has the money to go anywhere in the world and have any surgery he wishes. Hell, he could even go to LA and have plastic surgery to look like his good body harper.
Seriously, though what if that was a single mother on EI? Yes that person could be flown to Toronto or some other province. But, what about the family? Why can’t we just send a surgical team to the place? They aren’t licensed to practice in that province.
My other fight is for “PRESUMED DONOR”, What that is that every Canadian would be an automatic organ donor. Unless they signed a NO DONOR CARD!

This system is used in 10-15 other countries, so why not trying it in Canada.
As a transplant patient I am well aware of the desperate need organs to transplant.
Even when a person has signed their donor card family members have the right to say no.
Those organs are then buried or burnt.
I remember the years I was on dialysis finding out that the person who sat in the chair just a couple chairs over had died. I also saw a couple of people give up and not come back.
They died a few days later.
I figure that Canadian Politicians and Canadian media owe me over 10,000 replies.
I do hope this gets to you as I am blocked from many media addresses.
Oh, about Presumed Donor, two people did reply.
First the Hon. S. Copps wrote and article in the Sun (Sunday Sun I think) about 6 years ago. No body from media has replies since.
The only politician who has replied was Elizabeth May. This is in the Party policy manual. Naturally not much was said about the party in the last election.
I hope this actually gets to you. I am blocked from email addresses. Including yours.
This is why I get so ticked off. You know where ticked off is close to being.
Yours sincerely,
DOUG McLELLAN

A THOUGHT FOR DISASTERS

April 18, 2013
I was watching that huge disaster in West Texas. I started to think. With so many people having cell phones & smart phones why couldn’t cities etc have everybody’s number. When anything like this happens a text message could go out to them and tell people where they should go for assistance. With everybody in one place (that can get there counting etc would be much easier and safer for all concerned.

NO TRUDEAU MANIA

April 15, 2013

There is one big, difference between Justin Trudeau and his father that you are not talking about.
When Trudeau senior was elected he was, the single rich playboy. That was the big part of Trudeau mania.
Women would line up to be kissed my him. I even remember when Barbra Streisand came to Ottawa and stayed with him. Marriage talks were even floating around the country.
Justin is a married man with a family.
So will there be Trudeau mania like the last time? I doubt it!

PRIME MINISTER HARPER
HEALTH MINISTER Hon. Leona Aglukkaq
PREMIER OF ONTARIO

Ladies and Mr Harper,

In the news we are hearing about cancer medication being weaker than it should be.
Considering I have no trust or faith in our political leaders I am concerned about all other life saving drugs.
I have to take anti rejection drugs for the rest of my life. Many other Canadians live depend on different drugs to keep them alive.

So, who is checking our drugs on a regular basis? How do we know that profit minded companies are not cutting corners?

I know as I said I do not believe or trust politicians or big companies. Many lives depend on good meds.
Again who runs checks on these companies.
I doubt under this federal regime, no body does.
This is a perfect example why we should have a Nationalized Health Care System like you all have keep COVEREDUP for 20 plus years.

I really do not expect any of you to reply as I am never get a rely from any politicians.
I remember being told when I worked for the Ontario Government we were told only pass on letter that agree with our doctrine .
I don’t agree with any of you so I know where this letter is going.
That’s the same with our National Media.

Yours sincerely,

DOUG McLELLAN
